What is MyCompApp?
The SSFA’s stand-alone competition management system for Fixtures and all things competition.
Why do I have to register in Playfootball?
Playfootball is Football Australia’s registration system. Your registration will be fetched from Playfootball to MyCompApp in order for your Club to allocate you to a team.
When will I be able to see my team?
Teams will be made Public on Saturday 8th March.
How do I find Fixtures?
There are two ways to find your Fixtures:
https://shirefootball.com/ and selecting the Fixtures tab on the top line; select your club, fixtures will display from the current date, to select a date, click on the displayed date; OR
Downloading SSFA MyCompApp
Fixtures won't be published until mid-March...it takes time!
How can I ensure I receive Notifications of changes to fixtures?
Notifications are unique to each app in each individual’s smart phone. Set your Notifications to ON for SSFA MyCompApp. Alternatively, you will need to remember to check fixtures. It is best practice to check fixtures before you leave home every game day.
How do I sign in?
After you have Registered in Playfootball for 2025, your account information will be updated to include your 2025 role/s.
Sign in using EITHER your FAA/Reg ID number OR the email used to register in Playfootball, if this is a family email, the password will be drawn from the oldest person linked to that email.
Your default password is the first two letters of your First name, the four numbers of your day and month of birth, the last two letters of your last name. For example: John Smith born 12/02/1970 = jo1202th
Do not create a new account – you must Register in Playfootball.
If you encounter a linked account, ie a family member, switch accounts or simply continue with that account.
How do I make Favourite the teams I follow?
Tap on the My Teams tile, follow the prompts to search for the teams you want to follow. When you find them, tap on the heart icon to make them your favourite. Players/Coaches/Team Managers do not need to favourite their own team.
How do I view my fixtures or other teams’ fixtures?
Download MyCompApp from the IOS or Google Play stores OR
View them at the public website https://shirefootball.com.au/ click on fixtures
View them at the public website https://ssfa.mycompapp.com/#/fixtures
Having issues with the mobile app ?
A delete of the app and clean install, can often assist with any issues you may have.
