Competition

A competition is used to group the leagues together. A season can have multiple competitions.

Competition has two types: tournament and round-robin.

When you create a competition, you will be asked to fill in a lot of properties for the competition. For the meaning of the properties related to the competition, please refer to the built-in help manual of the competition.

Linked competitions

In knockout competitions, competitions can be optionally linked to a competition from the linked round-robin competition. The purpose of the link is to enable the leagues between the two competitions can be linked together.

League

A league is a group of teams that play against each other in a structured format over multiple rounds.

When you create a league, you will be asked to fill in a lot of properties for the league. For the meaning of the properties related to the league, please refer to the built-in help manual of the league.

Linked leagues

In knockout competitions, leagues can be optionally linked to a league from the linked round-robin competition. The purpose of the link is to enable the leagues to share the borrowing settings of the linked league.

In this way the players from the teams that are in the linked league can be used in the knockout competition, even these teams are not playing the knockout competition.

League borrowing rules

The borrowing rules in the leagues are used to determine which teams can borrow players from other teams from the SAME club in the given leagues.

The rules are listed below:

  1. can only borrow from the designated leagues
  2. the age and gender must match the borrowing team, e.g. a U16 team can only borrow players who are from 14 to 16 (avoid age and gender mismatch).
  3. maximum allowed borrowing numbers for each game (to avoid borrowing too many players)
  4. maximum allowed borrowing times by one team (to avoid borrow one player too often)
  5. suspended player cannot be borrowed.

You can export the leagues to review the borrowing rules you have set for each league.

Draw and draw generator

The draw and draw generator are used to generate the draws for each league in the competition. Refer to the built-in help manual of the draw and draw generator for the details.

Draw schedule and fixtures

Draw schedule addresses the needs to find the fields and timeslots to host the fixtures. Refer to the built-in help manual of the draw schedule for the details.

Fixture viewer

Fixture viewer provides a visual interface for managing games with field layout information, offering an intuitive way to oversee match scheduling and venue assignments.
