Common information about account creation.
Who this is for
This tutorial is for anyone who wants to know when to create an account.
When an account is required
- If you are a player, coach, team manager, referee, or administrator, you have to have an account to use the software.
- For the public users, it is recommended to create an account to use the software but it is not mandatory.
- Parents and guardians can use the account of their children if they are not involved in the competition directly.
Don't create a new account if you had an account before
- Please don't create a new account if you had an account before, mainly because the history data of your previous account will be lost.
- If you forget which email address you used to create the account, you can submit a recovery request to retrieve your account.
- If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page. If you have trouble with the password reset, please read the I did not receive my password reset email tutorial first. If you still cannot reset your password, please contact your club or association and ask them to reset your password for you.
If you have multiple accounts with the same email address
If you have multiple accounts with the same email address, on the password reset page, you will be asked to select the account you want to reset the password for. Because each account has its own password, please remember which account you selected when you change the password.
You can use your REG ID to login instead of email
As indicated in the login page, you can use your REG ID to login instead of email. This solves the problem of having multiple accounts with the same email address and passwords. If your account was imported from PlayFootball Australia, the REG ID is the FFA number issued by PlayFootball Australia.
If you don't know or forgot your REG ID, you can contact the association to get it. If you are in a team already, your team manager or coach can see your REG ID in the mobile app and website portal.
